An Upstate man is in custody after allegedly shooting his brother after a weekend argument. The Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting on Apple Hill Road in Easley, just before 10 PM, Sunday night.
A woman on the scene told deputies her two adult sons were arguing, she then heard a gunshot and found one of her sons suffering from a gunshot wound. Before deputies arrived the suspect, 33 year old Antonio Marquis Kenney had fled the scene in a vehicle.
Deputies then found the vehicle abandoned at a gas station on Highway 153, they also saw video footage that showed Kenney being picked up in another vehicle.
The Greenville Police Department then stopped the vehicle at the intersection of East Washington Street and Laurens Road. Kenney was taken into custody on charges of attempted murder and a weapons violation.
