A Fountain Inn man has been arrested for making bomb threats against upstate law enforcement agencies. Late last month, SLED agents charged 37 year old Jason Ryan Jones with 3 counts of making bomb threats.
According to arrest warrants, in mid July, Jones called the SLED Operations Desk and left expletive laced messages threatening to bomb law enforcement agencies in Fountain Inn, Simpsonville and Greenville.
Jones was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center. The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
