An Upstate man is facing drug trafficking charges after the search of a Union County home. A task force from the Union County Sheriff's Office and SLED served an arrest warrant on 26 year old Romeo Thompson, Tuesday.
Thompson was located inside a bedroom in the home and a bag of meth was found beside the bed. A subsequent search of house turned up nearly 350 fentanyl pills, almost an ounce of meth and a small amount of cocaine and another controlled substance.
Thompson is charged with trafficking fentanyl and meth, he's also charged with possession of cocaine and another controlled substance.
Thompson was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Union County Jail.
