Charges have been announced more than 6 months after a crash in the Upstate that claimed the life of an Anderson woman. The deadly wreck happened on Concord Road in Anderson County, March 5th.
The Coroner's Office identified the victim as 29 year old, Morgan Michelle Horne. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that Horne was traveling west when she was hit head on by a vehicle that crossed the centerline.
The driver of that vehicle, Benjamin McCormick and two passengers were injured in the crash and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
McCormick was arrested earlier this week and is charged with fatal DUI, child endangerment and two counts of DUI causing injury. He is currently being held without bond in Anderson County.
