An Upstate man is facing charges for his alleged involvement in helping to fly contraband into a prison.
The South Carolina Department Of Corrections says, 39 year old Christopher James Brannon of Moore drove another man to an area near Ridgeland Correctional Institute to help him fly a drone loaded with contraband into the prison yard.
The other suspect who the SCDC did not identify in their release on Brannon's arrest, was arrested in the case last fall.
Now, Brannon faces charges of providing contraband, conspiracy, and intent to distribute marijuana.
