Upstate man to serve quarter century in prison for 2018 shooting

An Upstate man has been sentenced to a quarter century following a shooting, over 4 years ago. 13th Circuit Solicitor Walt Wilkins has announced, that 26 year old Quavon Deshay Edmunds has been convicted of two counts of attempted murder, conspiracy and multiple weapons charges.

The Solicitor's Office says, Edmunds fired multiple shots into an occupied vehicle and hit one of the victims in the head. The incident happened February 7th of 2018 at the intersection of Rutherford Road and North Main Street in Greenville. The shooting was captured on video, showing Edmonds and others surrounding the victim's vehicle. Edmunds will serve his 25 year sentence in the South Carolina Department Of Corrections.
