An Upstate non-profit and elected officials are asking for the public's help in raising money for a historical park. Officials hope to raise $20,000 dollars for the Greenville Textile Heritage Park.
The money will go toward renovations, expanding the greenspace and adding water fountains. The Greenville Textile Heritage Society says they hope to preserve the industry's history with the city.
The group also has future plans to open a Textile Heritage Museum.
