The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office is investigating the discovery of a body. Investigators were called around 7:30 Friday morning after that body was found on a bench in Cleveland Park just north of downtown Spartanburg.
The Coroner's Office said they believe this incident to be a possible suicide. The park has been closed for this continuing investigation
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released and no further details were made available, as of the time of this report.
