One Upstate police department is hoping a renewed push and advances in technology can help them solve a cold murder case. Twenty years ago today, three people were found dead inside the Blue Ridge Savings Bank off of I-85 and Highway 14 in Greer.

The victims, Eb and Maggie Barnes and Sylvia Holtzclaw were killed in an apparent robbery. To this day, the case has remained unsolved. The Greer Police Department feels that someone knows something and they hope anyone who does will come forward.

Greer Police Chief Matt Hamby said " “Nothing is too small, at this point in time, we absolutely need every possible communication that can be provided to us.”

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the Greer PD at 864-848-2151
