A vehicle pursuit in the Upstate Tuesday night ended with the suspect behind bars. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 year old Larry Davelle Cannon Jr. of Anderson after he attempted to flee a traffic stop.
The Sheriff’s Office says Cannon wrecked during the pursuit which started on Centerville Road in the Sandy Springs area, continued onto Hwy 76 and ended near the intersection of Hwy. 187 and LaFrance Road. A small fire broke out as a result of the wreck, firefighters responded and quickly put the fire out. Cannon is charged with failure to stop for blue lights and reckless driving, the Sheriff’s Office says additional charged could be on the way.”
