
One Upstate school district is moving classes for high school students online for the time time being. The School District of Oconee County announced Monday that high school students will attend classes virtually, Wednesday through Friday of this week. Thus far the change is in place for high school students only.

The District notified parents, saying that a surge in covid cases among students and staff has prompted the changes. The District says the plan is for high school students to return to in person classes on Tuesday January 18th, as Oconee schools are closed Monday the 17th for Martin Luther King Day.
