
An Upstate sheriff's office has announced that 16 people were arrested during a sweep, late last week. The Union County Sheriff's Office, SLED and other agencies teamed up to serve over two dozen warrants in the recent round-up.

Five of those 16 were arrested on drug charges. Others were taken into custody on charges of neglect, failure to register as a sex offender, and bench warrants. One suspect was arrested on charges of strong armed robbery and domestic violence.
Those arrested and their charges are listed below.
Michael Ray Brannon III-one charge for unlawful conduct toward a child/helpless person.
Travis William Austin - four charges for possession with the intent to distribute Methamphetamine 2nd offense, possession with the intent to distribute of Marijuana 2nd and sub. Offense, and two counts of Distribution of schedule I II drugs or crack cocaine to a person under 18.
Timothy Wayne Brooks- one charge for Fugitive from Justice.
Erika Harley Brown - three warrants. One for Possession of Controlled substance in schedule I to V 1st offense; one for possession of cocaine base (crack); and one for possession of marijuana.
Robert Edward Lee Fowler- Failure to Register as a sex offender – 2nd offense.
Jessica Rose Gill- arrested for Hindering.
Joseph Matthew Henderson- one charge for Unlawful Neglect Toward Child/Helpless person.
Joseph Ernest Inman - Possession of Methamphetamine and for driving without a South Carolina driver’s license.
