Converse University in Spartanburg is extending an olive branch to students affected by the closure of Limestone University. Officials at Converse say the "Saints Scholarship" will provide students up to 22,000 dollars per year.
Eligible students will be those that have transferred from Limestone. Converse will also provide housing exemptions for students in Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties who are currently living with family.
The school is also helping Limestone employees find new jobs.
