The 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks is this Sunday and an Upstate University is set to commemorate that day and honor the victims. Bob Jones University is displaying a 9/11 Memorial near the Wade Hampton entrance of its campus. The school will have flags set up in that area to represent the nearly 3,000 victims from 115 different countries that died in the attacks.

In addition to that, a replica of the World Trade Center Cross will be featured at the Wade Hampton entrance. The World Trade Center Cross is one of the most recognized symbols found at the wreckage of Ground Zero.
Also, a portion of a steel girder from the World Trade Center's North Tower will be in the lobby of the University's Welcome Center. The public is invited to come and view that, as the lobby is open each weekday from 7:30 AM to 10 PM.
