An upstate woman was hospitalized after being stabbed with a beer bottle following an altercation at an Upstate apartment complex, Saturday evening.
The victim told police that she was sitting outside drinking when the suspect Ledasia Rice attacked her with a beer bottle. Rice began shouting at the victim before grabbing a bottle, and hitting the victim multiple times.
Rice fled the scene, the incident reportedly began with an argument about Rice's child. The Spartanburg Police Department says, the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.
No arrests have been made as of this time, however police say they are seeking an aggravated assault warrant against the suspect.
