Three suspects are in custody after an Upstate woman was fatally shot in the Midlands, earlier this week. The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting at a home on Durham Place Road near Winnsboro.
The two victims were found at the scene was injured and the other was killed in the shooting. The deceased has been identified as 37 year old, Laporsha Jasma Farr.
The Sheriff's Office says three suspects were at the home when a dispute happened which led to the shooting. The three men then fled the scene. The accused shooter 41 year old, Jerry L. Jones was arrested in Greenville County, Thursday after a standoff that lasted three hours.
The other two suspects Benny Grady and William Mack were already taken into custody. Jones is charged with murder and attempted murder and a weapons violation. Grady and Mack are charged with accessory after the fact.
