Investigators said the driver has pulled over onto to the shoulder of the road to sleep, but left the engine running which ignited grass underneath the vehicle which led to the fire.

It was believed that the driver, identified as 61 year old Sheri Knox, was sleeping and died of smoke inhalation before the vehicle was fully engulfed by the flames. Woodruff Police have closed the case and are not planning any further investigation.
