The strike known as the "Red Cup Rebellion", started Thursday which coincided with the company's "Red Cup Day" promotion. The Starbucks Workers United Union says, the strike is in protest of the company's unfair demands.

The union represents over 7,000 Starbucks employees at more than 250 locations. 39 official complaints have been issued against Starbucks by the National Labor Board and the company is accused of over 900 federal labor law violations.
