If you're swimming in student loan debt, you're going to have to keep waiting for any forgiveness to come along. The Biden Administration's $1.9 trillion stimulus bill does not provide student loan forgiveness. The White House says that a provision to forgive student loan debt will come as a separate action outside of the stimulus bill. President Biden has supported a reduction of debt around $10 thousand, but loan forgiveness up to $50 thousand has been supported by other progressives.
