Officials arrested a Laurens County man after he allegedly stole from a vulnerable adult....
Attorney General Alan Wilson said 57 year old Darryl J. Floyd, was charged with exploitation and breach of trust with fraudulent intent.

The victim lived at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson at the time of the crimes. AG Wilson said between October 2023 to July this year, investigators found that Floyd, entrusted as the victims Power of Attorney, used the funds of a vulnerable adult.
He was arrested Wednesday, December 18, 2024, and booked into the Anderson County Detention Center. If found guilty, Floyd faces up to 10 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
