The search is on for a suspect in a shooting at an Upstate store. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded Wednesday afternoon, to a reported shooting at the Dollar General in Duncan.
The clerk reported that she was in the back and heard a gunshot. She then found the victim on the floor in one of the aisles suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene but the victim was able to tell deputies the name of the suspect. However, the sheriff's office has not released the name of the suspect.
The victim's girlfriend told investigators that the two men fired shots at each other last week at the victim's residence, but that incident was not reported.
