The victim has been identified following a fatal weekend stabbing in the Upstate. The Anderson Police Department says an out of state man died there Friday night, after he was stabbed in the stomach.

The Anderson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 44 year old, Eric Corey Edmundson of New York. The coroner's office has ruled his death a homicide and an autopsy is set to performed Tuesday.
