Polls across the state are open until 7PM, Tuesday. If you are in line the vote at 7PM, you will be allowed to vote.

You will be asked to show a Photo ID, which can be a SC Driver’s License, SC Department of Motor Vehicles ID Card, SC Concealed Weapons Permit, SC Voter Registration Card with Photo, US Passport, Federal Military ID which includes all Department of Defense Photo IDs and the Department of Veterans Affairs Benefits Card.


The high profile Primary races include the race for the Republican nomination for Governor. Five candidates including Alan Wilson, Ralph Norman Nancy Mace, Rom Reddy, and Pam Evette have all been campaigning hard and getting their message out to the public leading up to today. Jermaine Johnson, Mullins McLeod and Billy Webster are vying for the nod on the Democratic ticket.

Also, the race for a U.S. Senate Seat in South Carolina has been one where "the gloves have come off" in the weeks leading up to it. As the challenger, Mark Lynch a Greenville businessman looks to unseat the longtime incumbent Lindsey Graham in the Republican Primary. President Trump is heavily endorsing Graham in his re-election bid and has also thrown support behind Pam Evette in the Governor's race. Dr. Annie Andrews from the low country seems to be the front runner for the Democratic nomination in that race.

As Alan Wilson has focused his sights on the Governor's Mansion, the Attorney General's seat is open and up for grabs. 8th Circuit Solicitor David Stumbo is taking on David Pascoe and Stephen Goldfinch for the Republican nomination. Pascoe is a former Solicitor in the Low Country, who was a longtime Democrat until switching allegiances and becoming a Republican in recent years. Goldfinch is a current State Senator who comes from a prominent family in the state's Grand Strand Area.

More races for note include the U.S. Congressional seats in South Carolina. in District 1 the race is on to replace current delegate Nancy Mace who is seeking the Governor's seat. In District 3 Sheri Biggs is seeking re-election and is unopposed in the primary. District 4 incumbent William Timmons is facing Robert Lee and David Atchley in the Primary. Timmons won a hotly contested Primary over former Statehouse Rep. and Freedom Caucus member Adam Morgan in 2024.
