There will be a number of local issues on the ballot in multiple Upstate counties. We have reported numerous times on Greenville County's proposed one percent sales tax increase.

That issue has certainly had it's critics like Councilmen Rick Bradley, who joined a Forum on the issue on last Thursday's Charlie James Show.

Voters in Anderson and Greenwood Counties will also have to decided on a one percent sales tax increase. The revenue would be used on Capital Improvement projects in those counties. Leaders in Greenwood also say some of that funding would be used for projects at Piedmont Technical College.

Gray Court residents will be voting on transferring the town's water system to the care of the Laurens County Water and Sewer Commission.

Potential tax millage usage increases are on the ballot in multiple districts around Spartanburg County.

Union County voters will have a couple of alcohol related regulations on there ballots, as well.
