A wanted suspect is behind bars after allegedly biting an officer during his arrest. The Greenville Police Department says a patrol officer spotted a suspect Marty Benjamin Miller, Friday night.
Miller was located at a home in the Nicholtown Community of Greenville and Miller tried to flee in a vehicle. A 2nd officer arrived and Miller kept resisting. Police say he pulled a gun and bit an officers while they tried to place him under arrest. A K9 unit was brought in to assist and Miller was then taken into custody.
Miller was wanted on 16 active warrants. He also is expected to face his additional charges from this incident including assault on an officer, resisting arrest with a deadly weapon, interfering with officers and a weapons violation.
