
A suspect who was already wanted for attempted murder is in custody after investigators say he beat a man with a baseball bat during a robbery.
The Laurens County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported robbery and assault at a home in Gray Court, August 12th. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim suffering from injuries to the face.
The suspect was identified as 31 year old, Jertavious Mack of Enoree. He was already wanted for an unrelated attempted murder charge from 2020.
Mack was arrested last Friday by Sheriff's Office deputies and U.S. Marshalls. Mack faces charges of armed robbery and 1st degree assault stemming from the incident last month.
He's currently being held without bond in Laurens County.
