Weekend bomb threat leads to grocery store evacuation

An Upstate grocery store was evacuated due to a bomb threat over the weekend. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to the Ingles on Warren Abernathy Highway just after 6 PM Saturday night to investigate the threat. The Sheriff's Office says the store manager reported that a man made the bomb threat while at one of the registers.

The man allegedly said that someone else was on the way to bomb the store. Deputies walked through the store during their investigation but didn't see anything suspicious. As of the time of this report, there's been no arrests announced in connection to the incident
