After weeks of speculation, Russia has now officially attacked Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a TV statement that Russia did not plan to occupy Ukraine. Then just a bit later attacks against Ukrainian military targets were reported. Martial law has been declared by the Ukrainian government.
