Will we ever see gas under $2 per gallon again?

During Donald Trump's presidency we saw gas prices under $2 per gallon around South Carolina. Gas prices have steadily risen over the last 18 months. The rise in fuel prices have contributed to the financial crunch felt by the working class. When fuel is more expensive, prices on relatively everything else goes up as well. Prices have dipped some in recent weeks, but that comes after a major increase. It begs the question, will we see gas prices under $2 per gallon in South Carolina again?
