A Western North Carolina man is behind bars facing child sex crime charges after a months long investigation.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says they were notified over the summer that a man had been sexually abusing an underaged girl and an investigation was launched.
Investigators determined that the abuse had been happening on multiple occasions over the last three years. 68 year old, Robin David Gilliland was arrested Tuesday and is charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child.
