A Western North Carolina man will spend the rest of his life in prison for his role in a 2022 double murder. Officials say 33 year old, Godiet Corral of Hendersonville has been convicted on two counts of 1st degree murder.
Corral is one of two people that have been charged with murder in the case, Cody Wayne Dockins is the other. A 3rd suspect, Russell Squire was charged with accessory after the fact.
Corral was given two life sentences after being found guilty. Investigators say the two victims, Sandy Torrey and Bryan Khopkar were found dead inside a vehicle in the gas station parking lot.
