A Western North Carolina man could spend as little as two years in prison on child sex crime charges. Officials say, 65 year old Bruce Ellison McCall of Asheville pleaded guilty to a total of 10 counts of 2nd and 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
The charges stem from offenses McCall committed from late 2023 until February of this year. Investigators say he was found with files depicting child sexual abuse of victims ranging from 2 to 10 years old.
McCall will serve a term of between 2 and 7 years, he was credited with just over 90 days of time served prior to sentencing.
