A Brevard, North Carolina man has been sentenced on charges associated with the January 6th Capitol insurrection. 36 year old Alan Michael St. Onge was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months in prison.
He pleaded guilty earlier this year to two counts of felony civil disorder. The U.S. Attorney's Office says St. Onge was part of the mob that attempted to breach a police line at the Capitol Building entrance. St. Onge was arrested last year in Brevard; he was one of three people sentenced this past Tuesday for their roles in the January 6th incident. More than 1,450 people in total have been charged since the incident occurred.
