A Western North Carolina man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being found guilty of rape and other offenses. Officials say 56 year old, David Bruce Pressley of Hendersonville was convicted of 1st degree rape, a 1st degree forcible sex offense and for being a habitual offender.
Pressley was given two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of early release. Court records say Pressley showed up at the home of a teenage victim knowing she was home alone.

Pressley knew the girl's father and convinced her to unlock the door and let him in. Pressley then attacked the girl physically and sexually. Investigators say witness testimony , security cam footage and DNA analysis all pointed them to Pressley.
