A Western North Carolina woman is in custody following the death of her twin 4 year old sons. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to a home in Murphy, NC Saturday.
The father of the two boys reported that he went to his wife's home to pick up the boys for visitation and made a horrifying discovery. The man and women were separated and the father discovered that the boys were dead.
The mother, Geneive Springer was taken to a North Georgia hospital and was then charged with two counts of murder. She was then transported to the Cherokee County Jail and is being held there without bond. The Sheriff's Office says they are still working to determine the exact date and time that the boys died.
