A Western NC woman is facing charges after an attempted dog-napping went wrong. The McDowell County Sheriff's Office says, back on September 24th, a woman entered a home without permission and tried taking a dog from the home.
The homeowner then told the suspect 38 year old Ashley Amanda Hughes to leave and she then caused damage to the home.
Hughes was arrested over 2 weeks later. She's charged with 1st degree burglary
