The woman who was found dead at an Upstate creek earlier this week, has now been identified. The Anderson County Coroner's Office and City Police Department responded Wednesday night to a creek along "A" Street in Anderson.
Two people who were walking reported the discovery of a decomposed body. The Coroner's Office has since identified the deceased as 45 year old, Sheila Veronica Hensley of Williamston.
Hensley's cause and manner of death are still being investigated.
