An investigation is underway after a body was found in a Western North Carolina River, Tuesday morning.
The Franklin Police Department says two fishermen discovered the woman's body in the Little Tennessee River in Macon County, North Carolina. The deceased has not yet been identified.
Police say the woman's cause and manner of death is still under investigation.
