A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed after a crash in the Upstate last year left three teenagers dead. As we previously reported, the crash happened on Fairfield Road in Chesnee in September of 2023.
18 year old Jeffrey Scott Wallace of Chesnee and teenage brothers Vitaly and Vladimir Rybinksi of Cowpens were all killed in the crash. The Highway Patrol says the driver 18 year old, Juan Pablo Ortega Preciado was driving without a license and was doing over a 100 miles per hour when the crash occurred. He's charged with fatal reckless driving and driving without a license.
The wrongful death suit filed on behalf of the Rybinski's cites that Preciado obviously should not have been driving. It also claims wrongdoing by the owner of the vehicle.
