A young mother is dead after she was shot during a murder-suicide, in the Upstate Tuesday night. As we previously reported, The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Elmwood Avenue in Greenville's Judson Community, around 9:30PM.
When deputies arrived they found and man and woman dead at the scene. Officials have now confirmed that the shooting was a murder suicide.
While the Coroner's Office has still not released the identities of the deceased, I have spoken with family members and sources close to the situation. Thus, I have been able to identify the victim as 22 year old, Chloe Brown.
Those same sources have identified the shooter as 25 year old, Aavion Mardreckus "Dreak" Wright. Family members of Chloe Brown's tell me that the shooting stemmed from a domestic issue.
I have also been able to confirm that Wright filmed the act and posted the video of the killing on social media, prior to turning the gun on himself.
