President Trump kicked off his initial campaign for president highlighting the porous condition of the US southern border.
During his current term, the administration, despite federal court rulings and at times tepid support of Congress, has managed to complete several hundred miles of border wall.
Democrats have been advocating for a decriminalization of crossing the border illegally.
Mark Morgan the acting commissioner of US Customs and Border Protection is warning against such a policy.

During his first campaign for office, then candidate Trump was accused of being racist for portraying those crossing the border as murders, rapist and drug dealers.  Morgan pointed out that every day border patrol agents are stopping people who have committed such crimes.

Morgan was a guest (Monday) this morning on the Tara Show. To hear the entire interview, just download the Tara Show podcast , available here.
