The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) on Monday announced 539 new confirmed cases and 29 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, 11 additional confirmed deaths and 1 new probable death.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 157,970, probable cases to 6,639, confirmed deaths to 3,449, and 212 probable deaths.
Percent Positive
The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC yesterday statewide was 4,762 (not including antibody tests) and the percent positive was 11.3%.
Greenville County had the highest number of new confirmed cases in the state at 83. Spartanburg County had the second highest number of new confirmed cases at 76.
