The race for the US Senate in South Carolina pitting Republican Senator Lindsey Graham against Democrat Jamie Harrison is the key race to watch. Fundraising and campaign ad spending by both candidates has been setting records as one of the most expensive Senate races in US history. Most recent polls give the incumbent Graham a slight edge.
All seven of South Carolina's Congressional Representatives are up for re-election. The most hotly contested race is the First Congressional District along the coast. Democrat Joe Cunningham is challenged by Republican Nancy Mace. Democrats took the seat in the 2018 election and the SCGOP is fighting hard to take it back.
