
A former South Carolina Governor is lending her endorsement to a political ally. Nikki Haley is backing Sarah Palin, as Palin seeks a seat in the U.S. Congress. Palin served as the Governor of Alaska from 2006 until 2009. She announced her bid for the U.S. Congressional Seat from Alaska that came open after the death of Don Young last month.

Palin endorsed Haley in her 2010 campaign for Governor of South Carolina. Palin's endorsement helped Haley win the Governor's seat over three other candidates which included, Gresham Barrett, Henry McMaster, and Andre Bauer.
