The Associated Press called two of the US House seats up for grabs in Upstate South Carolina districts only two hours after polls closed Tuesday night. The third Upstate district was also called later in the night.
Just before 9pm, the US House Seat for South Carolina's 3rd district was called in favor of Republican Sheri Biggs with 71.3% of the vote, beating out Democrat Bryon Best after Representative Jeff Duncan decided not to try for reelection.
In district 5, incumbent Ralph Norman was also called the winner in his race against Democrat Evangeline Hundley with 60.4% of the vote.
An hour later, incumbent William Timmons was also called as the winner in district 4 against Democrat Kathryn Harvey with 59.7% of the vote.
