
In an effort towards full transparency the South Carolina Dept. Of Education has launched a new virtual tool. The Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Funding Dashboard will allow South Carolinians to see how federal funding is being spent.

State Superintendent Of Education Molly Spearman said "This dashboard is a transparent way for taxpayers to see how schools and districts are utilizing an unprecedented amount of federal money".
The State has received over $3 billion dollars in federal funding since the Covid pandemic began in 2020. The dashboard will allow the public to see how the money is spent in each school district. Here is the link to the dashboard https://ed.sc.gov/data/reports/esser-funding/
