A teenager is dead after a weekend shooting in the Upstate. The Spartanburg Police Department responded to a reported shooting around 2AM yesterday Sunday morning at a home on Michael Court.
Police say a group was attending a party at the home when the shooting happened. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office says 19 year old, Waco Jermaine Crate Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report. A Forensic exam is scheduled for Monday. The shooting remains under investigation.
