The Atlanta police officers charged in the shooting death of Rayshard Brooks have been booked at the Fulton County Jail.

Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan were processed separately Thursday at the jail located in Atlanta.

On Friday, June 12, Rolfe and Brosnan attempted to arrest Brooks for apparently failing a DUI test in the parking lot of a Wendy's. Brooks, who was black, resisted and got hold of an officer’s Taser. He was shot in the back twice while attempting to run away.

Wednesday, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard announced that both officers would face charges in the death of Brooks. Rolfe is charged with felony murder and 10 other charges. If convicted, he could face the death penalty or life without parole.

Brosnan is charged with Aggravated Assault and two counts of Violating the Oath of Office and could face up to 20 years if convicted.

According to Fulton County Jail's website, Brosnan bonded out about an hour after turning himself in around 11:30 Thursday morning. Rolfe is being held without bail.

The Fulton County District Attorney had requested a $50,000 bond for Brosnan. No bond was requested for Rolfe.
