On The Charlie James Show (Thursday, October 1, 2026), host Charlie James highlights X as his preferred social media platform and fields caller opinions on public executions and legal appeals. He shifts focus to South Carolina fiscal governance, citing reports from Comptroller General candidate Mike Burkhold and FitzNews that detail millions in unspent state funds and instances of wasteful spending, such as $635,600 allocated for unopened computer labs and $4 million awarded to Fairfield County's Vision Center. James argues that conservative state lawmakers are failing to practice fiscal restraint or return surplus funds to taxpayers. Finally, he examines recent CDC Youth Risk Behavior Survey data indicating a sharp drop in American teenagers self-identifying as LGBTQ+, attributing previous spikes to cultural trends rather than permanent shifts.
