Heidi criticizes Joy Reid's comments and takes calls from listeners.

Guest host Heidi Harris, filling in for Charlie James, shares her past experience working in cable news hits before criticizing MSNBC host Joy Reid over a story involving a lost child at a mall. Heidi strongly disapproves of Reid’s decision not to intervene when the boy was physically struck by his mother, calling out Reid’s remark about not wanting to be a "white Karen" as deeply hypocritical and problematic. Later in the segment, Heidi takes a call from Richard in Dallas, who brings lighthearted commentary about the famous Gaffney "Peachoid" water tower before asking about the canceled public execution of Nidal Hasan, leading Heidi to reiterate that the decision was ultimately made due to negative public feedback.
